Our trash

our home

My journey. . .

What habits?

Welcome to #ABIT$ and thank you for your interest in eco-living, I am so pleased to have you here with me. The lack of knowledge is what inspired my goal; to inform the public of the overwhelming reasons to incorporate ethical decisions into their day to day lives. So what exactly is the commonsense reason to make changes to our habits: because we shouldn't S#*! where we eat. Otherwise we soil the only tangible gift life has to offer, our land, our planet, OUR HOME. Earth has thrived for billions of years without us, but how? Biodiversity, and every day we degrade that diversity to make room for the production of the products and services we buy. What no one ever told you was how pivotal biodiversity is for the earth to provide us with essential services, and without those services our world wouldn't function properly. This stems from the same idea behind performing upkeep on our vehicles, to keep it running smoothly, otherwise it might just break down on us. Wouldn't you want to show the same respect to the place that supports our futures?

If quantified the natural world provides us with seven billion dollars worth of services yearly, and contrary to what you've been told about life, all of it is free! This is why our habits need to change, because without getting informed society will perpetuate false narratives to keep you buying, producing, and wasting every day of your life. Instead of falling victim to the lack of care for the gifts our world has to offer, let's pursue informed and conscious lives and learn how to change our habits together!

I'm in this with you...
